Welcome to RAJLO — Jamaica’s First Cashless Transportation Platform.
This Driver Earnings Disclaimer & Independent Income Disclosure (“Disclosure”) governs all statements, expectations, estimates, projections, marketing materials, and representations relating to potential driver earnings through the RAJLO platform.
By registering as a driver, accessing the Platform, accepting trips, or using the RAJLO Driver App, drivers acknowledge and agree to this Disclosure.
1. Technology Platform Disclaimer
RAJLO is a technology marketplace platform that connects riders with independent third-party transportation providers.
RAJLO:
- Does not employ drivers
- Does not provide guaranteed work
- Does not guarantee ride requests
- Does not guarantee minimum income
- Does not guarantee profitability
- Does not provide salary or wages
- Drivers independently operate transportation services using the Platform.
2. No Guaranteed Earnings
RAJLO makes no guarantees regarding:
- Driver income
- Daily earnings
- Weekly earnings
- Monthly earnings
- Trip volume
- Ride demand
- Platform activity levels
- Passenger availability
- Driver profitability
- Business success
- All earnings examples, projections, illustrations, estimates, or promotional materials are for informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as guarantees.
3. Earnings Variability
Driver earnings may vary significantly based on numerous factors, including:
- Driver availability
- Time online
- Geographic location
- Traffic conditions
- Passenger demand
- Competition from other drivers
- Fuel costs
- Vehicle maintenance expenses
- Weather conditions
- Economic conditions
- Government regulations
- Technical interruptions
- Rider behavior
- Market conditions within Jamaica
- Past earnings do not guarantee future results.
4. Independent Contractor Status
Drivers using the Platform are independent contractors and are not employees of RAJLO.
Drivers are solely responsible for:
- Their business decisions
- Operating expenses
- Vehicle costs
- Fuel costs
- Insurance costs
- Licensing fees
- Taxes and statutory obligations
- Maintenance and repairs
- Mobile data and device costs
- Personal profitability decisions
Nothing in the Platform or related materials creates:
- Employment relationships
- Guaranteed income arrangements
- Salary entitlements
- Benefit entitlements
- Minimum earnings obligations
5. Operational Expenses
Drivers acknowledge that operating transportation services may involve substantial expenses, including but not limited to:
- Fuel
- Vehicle maintenance
- Tire replacement
- Insurance
- Licensing and permits
- Vehicle financing
- Cleaning expenses
- Repairs
- Mobile devices
- Mobile data plans
- Taxes and statutory contributions
- Depreciation
- Drivers are solely responsible for evaluating whether operating on the Platform is financially suitable for their personal circumstances.
6. Promotional & Marketing Materials
RAJLO may provide examples, estimates, simulations, or promotional statements regarding possible earnings opportunities.
Users acknowledge that:
- Such examples are illustrative only
- Results vary significantly
- Market conditions change constantly
- Individual performance differs
- Earnings examples are not promises or guarantees
- Drivers should not rely solely on promotional materials when making financial decisions.
7. Platform Availability Disclaimer
RAJLO does not guarantee:
- Continuous trip availability
- Continuous rider demand
- Platform uptime
- GPS reliability
- Payment processing availability
- Access to specific geographic markets
- Consistent ride request volume
- Technical outages, maintenance interruptions, payment delays, or market fluctuations may affect earnings opportunities.
8. No Financial Advice
RAJLO does not provide:
- Financial advice
- Tax advice
- Investment advice
- Business profitability advice
- Earnings guarantees
Drivers are encouraged to consult independent professional advisors regarding:

- Insurance

- Regulatory compliance
9. Taxes & Legal Obligations
Drivers are solely responsible for complying with Jamaican laws relating to:
- Income taxes
- Business registration
- Licensing

- RAJLO does not guarantee that driving on the Platform satisfies any specific regulatory or financial objective.
10. Driver Decision Responsibility
Drivers voluntarily choose whether to:
- Register for the Platform
- Accept trips
- Operate in specific areas
- Continue using the Platform
- Operate transportation services as independent contractors
- Drivers assume all business and financial risks associated with their activities.
11. No Employment or Labor Rights
Drivers acknowledge that use of the Platform does not create entitlement to:
- Minimum wage protections
- Overtime pay
- Employee benefits
- Vacation pay
- Pension contributions
- Workers’ compensation
- Guaranteed scheduling
- Severance pay
- Employment protections
- Drivers operate independently and maintain control over their work activities.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Jamaican law:
RAJLO, its owners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for:
- Lost profits
- Reduced earnings
- Business losses
- Vehicle expenses
- Fuel costs
- Market downturns
- Lack of rider demand
- Technical interruptions
- Driver profitability issues
- Economic conditions
- Financial losses arising from Platform use
- Drivers use the Platform entirely at their own risk.
13. Indemnification
Drivers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RAJLO and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, legal expenses, or disputes arising from:
- Driver business decisions
- Earnings-related claims
- Violations of Jamaican law
- Driver operations
- Misrepresentations made by drivers
- Financial disputes involving drivers
14. Policy Updates
RAJLO reserves the right to modify or update this Disclosure at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the Platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclosure.
15. Governing Law
This Disclosure shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.
Any disputes relating to this Disclosure shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
16. Driver Acknowledgment
By using the RAJLO Platform, drivers acknowledge and agree that they:
- Have read and understood this Disclosure
- Understand that earnings are not guaranteed
- Understand that operating expenses may reduce profitability
- Operate as independent contractors
- Accept all business and financial risks associated with transportation services
- Release RAJLO from liability to the fullest extent permitted under Jamaican law
This document forms part of your agreement with RAJLO. By continuing to use the RAJLO platform you accept this policy as currently published. RAJLO records the version of each policy you accept, with a timestamp, for both parties' protection.
